Average Weekly Wages – Pittsburgh Region Counties

The figures below reveal the wide disparity in average weekly wages that exists in the seven-county Pittsburgh Metropolitan Statistical Area. Allegheny County had the highest average weekly wages at $1,203 in the first quarter of 2017 with an overall increase of 6.8 percent year-over-year. Fayette County had the lowest average weekly wages at $718 with an increase of 8.1 percent year-over-year.
