Pittsburgh has the largest percentage of residents 25 years of age or older who have a high school degree (or equivalent) among all our benchmark regions. However, the percentage of residents who have a Bachelor’s degree or higher is below average.
The data here give a rough picture of how local educational achievement levels compare in eight separate categories with other regions according to the latest data available from the American Community Survey. These are 1-year estimates for 2016. The categories represent the highest level of attainment achieved.
