The Pittsburgh region continues to experience dramatically fewer bankruptcies than its benchmark peers. With 1,837 bankruptcies in the 1st quarter of 2018, Pittsburgh is lower than all benchmark regions except Charlotte, and less than the benchmark average of 3,093.

Year-over-year, the region’s bankruptcy filings decreased 11.1 percent.
