The number of jobs per 100,000 residents in arts and cultural establishments in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Statistical Area increased from 190.5 in 2014 to 191 in 2015. The 2015 total was above the benchmark average of 167.6.

Compared to the benchmark regions, Pittsburgh had the highest number of jobs in museums per 100,000 residents at 72.4.

Conversely, Pittsburgh had the second-lowest number of art dealers jobs per 100,000 residents at 2.1 compared to the benchmark regions.
